Partnerships with Community

Essex Heights Juniors strongly encourages community involvement. Educating our young children is the responsibility of the entire community. We believe forming partnerships improves outcomes for children, and assists them to recognise that by working together, they can often achieve goals that would not be possible from working alone.

Forming relationships with local community groups takes different forms at Juniors and continues to grow.

Local groups we have formed projects or special events with:

• Bunnings – Nottinghill
• Masters – Box Hill
• Elizabeth Gardens Aged Care
• Local Primary Schools – Essex Heights PS, Parkhill P.S
• Waverley Benevolent Society
• Anglicare
• Salvation Army

As well as fundraising events organized that support local groups eg Walk for Monash Children’s Hospital.
